Historic St. Charles and the Fete De Glace...The Festival of Ice

Bundle up and join the Roadrunners as we travel to St.Charles and the annual Festival of Ice. Watch as carvers turn dull, lifeless blocks of ice into dazzling works of art during this competition. The competition begins at 10:00 a.m. and the ends at 2:00 p.m. with judging following.

Our day will begin with a guided tour of historic St. Charles aboard our warm motor coach. Then it is off to tour Missouri's First State Capitol that has been completely restored and furnished as it appeared from 1821-1826.

After a wonderful lunch we will then have time to enjoy the ice sculpting competition and browse the shops as we stroll down the historic streets of St.Charles.

$60/per person payable at time of reservation, due no later than December 29, 2008
